My cup overflowith

We had a very busy past few weeks.  First, Mr. Corey came into town to visit Danny (and us, I'm sure,) then Sara and Tash, friends of mine from high school, came into town to visit us, and a few days later...Mimi and Papa came to visit!  It is so great showing off Seattle to all of our friends, and I do admit, it is GREAT having some girl time (sans toddler) with girls that have known me for 14 years (don't do the math, please.)  Living in Seattle, away from family and babysitters, and having an opportunity to have some good girl time while my husband ISN'T on call is amazing, I really needed that.

Fortunately, I DID get pictures of Mimi and Papa's visit!  More specifically, our day trip to Vashon.

True Love

I REALLY needed some family time.  It is amazing to see your child grow close to your parents.  I love to see Ruthie light up when she sees Papa and say "I love YOU" to Mimi (more like Ah La YOU.)  She is at the age where she remembers Mimi and Papa, Nana and Dadaw, etc, from one visit to another.  It is so awesome to see her little sweet face light up around them.  It almost makes it worth it that I am chop suey when they are around (unless tired, hungry or hurt.)  We are so blessed to have all of our visitors come into town.  Our cup of love is refilled and ready until our next visit (hint hint friends and family.)
