Happy 2nd Birthday!

Today, at 11:13 am PST, my little Ladybug turned 2.  Can you believe it?  I am seriously in denial!  
Two years ago, this was who I was holding:

Two is a threshold age for me.  It's the threshold from babyhood to kid-hood.  This next year, she will turn into a kid, and as excited as I am for that, a part of my heart doesn't want to let go of my baby.  I remember dreaming of what she would be like at age two.  Is she what I expected?  Not exactly, but at the risk of sounding cheesy, she's even better! 
I mean, COMEON!  LOOK AT HER!

Some of the cute things she is doing right now:
- "Ello, Gov-ner!"  (She's British)
- She loves yoga, and walks around saying "Namaste!"  Yesterday, at story time, she and her neighbor friend were doing downward dog - because story time is a perfect time for yoga!
- "Hi (insert name here) I MISSED YOU!!!"
- "Thank you mommy, you're welcome!"
- She speaks in whale (from Nemo)  "HELLLOOOOOOOOOO"
- "Knock knock" who's there "owie" owie who "OWWWIIIEEEEEEE" (yet again, in whale.)
- Ruthie, who's the boss?  "Ruthie boss?  Punkin boss?  Mommy boss?  Daddy boss?" yea!  Mommy and Daddy are boss "Ruthie boss?"

Wednesday, we went out to do some "big girl" things like...her first big girl hair cut!  Here is what the Salon at Kids Club gave us for her first professional haircut!

 Here is the final product!  You can't see it, but there is pink glitter in there...Ruthie asked for it.
