After dinner, the kids played together. I almost bought sparklers, but decided the ophthalmologists would frown upon such a dangerous activity. Plus, Ruthie needs to learn to sit up on her own before handing her burning objects. I kid, I kid...Anyway, the babies had more fun playing on their backs than any pyrotechnic form of entertainment.
Mama! Is he laying right there? Do you think he'll play with me?
Oh my goodness, I am so nervous! Maybe...if I put my arm...right here...he'll notice me... Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there...
'Scuse me, Ruthie? I was just wondering what you were up to tonight...
He likes me! He really likes me!
Hand holding.
Yeaaaa! So excited!
We had a lot of fun, and I can't wait for Ruthie to get to know Luke and Kaylin even more as she grows! But, we do need to teach her the fine art of playing "hard to get." Mama will teach you, my love.
