I can't wait for her to have the warm memories of Christmas that I had growing up. We would make cheesy nachos and decorate the tree with The Carpenters Christmas record/cassette playing in the background. We would scrutinize each ornament before putting it on, eating Nachos between each one. Then...about 10 minutes later, we'd get bored leaving mom and dad to finish. Okay, so nix that last part, I need the help!
Regardless, this year, I am more excited about starting traditions with Ruthie and introducing her to old traditions than I am having my own Christmas. It's a refreshing feeling.

| The first ornament she found? Her "r," given to her by Dadaw last year. |

| And, of course, she began unwrapping some gifts 20 days early. Someone needs to have a chat with her. |
