Christmas at the Moore's!

Our Christmas decorations are up, and thanks to Pinterest we have some new things!

Christmas card wreath, a la Martha Stewart.

Ruthie calls these "hand" and flips out because she is still mad she didn't get to paint after making the handprints.

Our creche we received as a wedding present.

Our "Christmas tree."  Ruthie pointed out the "Christmas tree" today at church...very loudly...during a prayer.  Bright side:   she learned something new this year!

We also did our annual Christmas cookie baking this weekend.  This time, Ruthie helped.

She kept wanting to use the "heart" cutter.  Her favorite shape of the moment

We gave her a decor pen to use.  Hindsight is 20/20, and the green will eventually wash off.  I'm pretty sure of it.

This year is even more fun to do all things Christmas.  Ruthie is really into it, but is a little hesitant when I let her know we are visiting "Ho Ho" next weekend.  Last year went smoothly, but every kid needs a "scared and crying child in Santa's lap" picture, right?
