Thanksgiving 2011

Happy day after Turkey day!  We have so much to be thankful for this year.  The (almost) end of residency, two new baby cousins, uncle David is marrying Aunt Sarah, and so much more!
We had a pretty low key Thanksgiving day.  First, we did the annual Starbucks driven Turkey Trot at Lincoln Park.
Baby's first hot chocolate!
People watching while waiting for mommy and daddy to catch up.  So poised.
They are having a deep conversation on what to be thankful for this year.  Danny claims our health, our family, and all blessings from above.  Ruthie claims "chocolate milk"
And she seems pretty set in this decision
"Come on, you know chocolate milk trumps all, people.  Don't look at me like that."
After our walk and before our big meal, we went to go see The Muppets.  It was pretty awesome, and, of course, something else to be thankful for.
She liked the "piggy"
Happy Thanksgiving, people.  Go treat yourself to some chocolate milk
*Side note:  today we set up our Christmas decorations (pictures to follow another day.)  We have a Starbucks cup ornament.  Now that she knows chocolate milk comes out of cups such as these, she has been staring and asking for (flipping out over) the "chocolate milk" consistently.  She thinks we are keeping it from her by hanging it in the tree.  I've created a Starbucks fanatic.  Atta-girl
