Playin' It Real

Ruthie is at my favorite age...a "two."  I loved teaching this age because this is where they go from baby to kid-hood.  They learn how to not only play with a game...but play the game:

Okay, so her coordination is off...that has nothing to do with her understanding, and everything to do with her genes.  I always wanted to be a dancer, and never was...for a reason.  Abby Lee, you can recruit me anytime to teach me.  I'm not past my prime, am I?

They also start pretend playing.  This is always a fun glimpse into their minds.
She has all her favorite things on, and she calls herself, "Nemo."
With pretend play comes a little reflection of how they see their mommies...
"Look, I'm being mommy!"
Um...errrrr...is this an intervention or are we still playing pretend?  Guess it's time for a new look.
