Three Years Old

My little lady is officially 3.  I cannot believe it.  I'm pretty melancholy about it, so this isn't going to be a particularly eloquent post.  However, there is a large part of me that knows that though my baby is growing up, every year with her will get better and better.  
We decided not to have a party this year and instead have a birthday extravaganza.  Mimi came into town, and we had loads of fun. 
We went to Chuck E Cheese

On the day of her birthday, we woke up early and drove to the NC Zoo in Asheboro. 

 After a restaurant of her choice, I let her decorate her own cake (she chose pink and purple hearts, of course.) 

 And then she opened her presents. 

I honestly cannot believe how fast time flies with a little one, but all I can do is hold her a little longer, give her extra hugs and kisses, and most of all, thank God for the blessing he has given us.
