Indiana, my Indiana

During the Monsoon season of Indiana (betcha didn't know they had one...nor did we, but it was there this year,) Ruthie, Punkers and I visited family. Counting on the warm spring days of my childhood, we showed up to what seemed like Seattle on crack...rain, rain and more rain. But, that's okay, because we live in Seattle and can deal with it! Regardless, we had a wonderful time visiting Dadaw, Nana, Mimi, Papa, Aunt Oofu, Uncle Eric and cousins Will, Madde and Izzy.

This rocker was Dadaw's when he was a tiny tot...Ruthie felt like such a big girl in it!
We had a sick day while at Mimi and Papa's, but that didn't stop her from playing! Ruthie LOVED playing house with Mimi.
We did get a few pretty days, and with one of those days, we went to Mesker Park Zoo.
Ohhhhh, scary fishies...
Papa was set on getting a picture with the giraffe...this is Papa thinking he was the giraffe whisperer getting the little guy to come closer.
Some Mimi love

I LOVE Indiana!

  1. It's amazing to see and hear of her advances, but one could only wonder what could be if she were learning Cantonese, mandarin and/or Spanish during this critical period!
