Okay, before I begin, I am going to say that this post has the case of the "indecisive's" (meaning: I posted too many pictures.) Sometimes I can choose a picture or two, but most of the time, I cannot. Pictures tell stories better than I can.
Today was a gorgeous day, and we went to the zoo with our buddies, Wing and Lily.
Ruthie brought her "bubble machine" AKA "No spill bubble blower" AKA "Yes, it doesn't spill, per se, but the wand does drip EVERYWHERE." Okay, that last nickname is a little long, but true.
 |
| Ahhhhh, bubbles...this is the life |
 |
| Say WHAT?! There is something BETTER? |
Wing, always prepared, not only brought a picnic, but also a parachute...because one never knows when one will need a parachute. Guess what, it was awesome.
First, they tried running THROUGH it...
 |
| I friggin' love the parachute!!!! |
Then, they got a hash session on HOW it works...
Lily: Okay, mom, go through steps 3-7 for me while I take notes
Ruthie: I got this! Now let me see if this wand fits in my ear
 |
| Ah! I figured it out! (notice the background here...) |
 |
| Yep, Ruthie's Elmo lunchbox is just too tempting, Lily's making a break for it. All is fair game when Elmo is involved. |
|
We then did something incredible, something spectacular, something that BLEW.RUTHIE'S.MIND...The Carousel...
Thank you, Lily, for introducing this two year old to this ride. It was just what we needed to end this fun outing.
 |
| (For you Babywise moms, or Baby Whisperer moms...This is the "7 mile stare" ie; she's tired) |
 |
| Sweet girls - tired girl or not, she loved it! |
We will definitely miss The Woodland Park Zoo when we leave Seattle, but mostly, we will miss our great friends.
Look at that cutie! Actually THOSE cuties! Liv has the same bubble thing and she loves it. She also loves licking it which may be why her lips are peeling.
ReplyDeleteLove the new picture up top too. Or maybe it isn't that new...either way, love it.
