Christmastime in NC

Here are a few pictures of our house and decorations.  Since moving here, I haven't shown any real pictures of our house.  I wrestled with whether or not I should.  We are only here a year, so it obviously isn't something we went out of our way to decorate, but I also want to document where we lived while here in Durham.  So, I figured Christmas decorations are a perfect excuse for doing a twofer.  It's like a blog's version of a sale!  Instead of BOGO it's SOGO (see one get one?)  should I go ahead and stop now?  yes?  okay, then...ahem 
I will say that it's kind of hard to really get a Christmas look I like knowing it's our only Christmas here.  For instance, I wanted a burlap look for Christmas this year, but apparently Pinterest made it so that everyone else felt the same way, and finding burlap was akin to finding Sasquatch in Mexico!  So, instead of traveling out of my way to find any burlap, I had a change of plans and scratched it from the list.  I refuse to not be festive, so the decor is up regardless of the creative derailment!  (#firstworldproblems)  And all that matters is that Ruthie LOVES it.  So, Pinterest, you tried, but...I win...I win again (yes, apparently I'm personifying a website - I think I've spent too much time on it...)
