A phrase used when asked to understand, or to show listening capabilities

(mommy talking to somebody)
Ruthie: Mommy, mommy, toy!
Mommy: Talking talking, blab blab
Ruthie: MOOOOMMMY, MOMMY, MOM, MOM, MOOOOOMMMMMMMMY
Mommy: Yes Ruthie?
Ruthie: Play Toy
Mommy: Ruthie, right now mommy is talking to someone, when I finish you can play with the toys. Okay?
Ruthie: Okay, Mommy
Ex 2; (from this morning)
Ruthie: Breakfast!
Mommy: Okay, we are going to make the bed and brush your teeth, and THEN breakfast. Okay?
Ruthie: Es Mem! (very proud of herself)
