Ruthie-ism #6

"Okay, Mommy!":
A phrase used when asked to understand, or to show listening capabilities
see also; "Ess, Mem!" (Yes, Ma'am!)

Ex;
(mommy talking to somebody)
Ruthie:  Mommy, mommy, toy!
Mommy:  Talking talking, blab blab
Ruthie:  MOOOOMMMY, MOMMY, MOM, MOM, MOOOOOMMMMMMMMY
Mommy:  Yes Ruthie?
Ruthie:  Play Toy
Mommy:  Ruthie, right now mommy is talking to someone, when I finish you can play with the toys.  Okay?
Ruthie:  Okay, Mommy

Ex 2; (from this morning)

Ruthie:  Breakfast!
Mommy:  Okay, we are going to make the bed and brush your teeth, and THEN breakfast.  Okay?
Ruthie:  Es Mem!  (very proud of herself)

Here is a video example of
1: this Ruthie-ism and
2: what happens when I take my eyes off of her for 1 minute to chop a vegetable
3: how she already blames Pumpkin for getting in trouble.  Smart, little girl, but I'm onto you...(Please ignore mess)
