Esus:
1. (noun) A word used when said child is answering specific questions.
Ex; "Who do we pray to?" or "Who do we thank?"
2. (noun) A favorite book
Ex; "Jesus Loves Me."
see also; Bible
3. (noun) A word used when said child doesn't know an answer.
Ex;
Mommy: We're going to be home soon!
Ruthie: Home? Punkin? Mommy?
Mommy: Yes, and daddy will be home, too!
Ruthie: Daddy? Doctor?
Mommy: Yes, Daddy is a doctor! What kind of doctor?
Ruthie: Eyes
Mommy: and what is mommy's job?
Ruthie: Ummmm...Esus?!
Ex 2:
Mommy (when leaving for LA): Ruthie, mommy's going to miss you so much! How are you going to remember to breathe with me gone? How will your heart beat?
Ruthie: Ummm....Esus?
A little dramatic, I get it. But, she got it right!
So, for Ruthie-ism 3 of 3: either she is a genius with answers, very connected with God, and thinks I'm especially holy...or (according to Meg) she's a Baptist...
Esus, esus, esus...The sweetest name I know:)
