While friends of ours were in NYC kicking off this futuristic sounding new year in high style, we were even CRAZIER! I cooked a big dinner and...wait for it...we stayed in watching How I Met Your Mother (thank you AGAIN Sara Stephan) and were lights out by 10 (we wanted to ring in the new year CST.) At least we can count on the fact that a child won't change our lifestyle as drastically as it does other couples! Maybe Ruthie will come out SO social that she will drag us out to the social scene next new year. Or, hopefully, and given the odds of her genes, probably not.
