We visited to Seabrook again this past weekend. Remember
last year? Well, we wanted to visit one last time before we move. Plus, we wanted to have Ruthie actually ENJOY the beach, vs. just drooling on it.
What, do you ask, did she do to enjoy the beach? Well, let's have a looksie, shall we?
We played on a foggy beach! These pictures aren't even in black and white, it's just the way the light made it. Talk about fog!
| First afternoon on the beach, love the fog...and Ruthie loved the freezing cold water. |
| Daddy, containing Ruthie from running straight into the water |
We had lots of Daddy and "Punkeen" time.
| Ruthie: Okay, mom, you decide what we are doing today while I sit on Daddy's lap. Pumpkin: Yea, what she said, get on it, lady! |
We finally enjoyed a SUNNY day on the beach!
| Finally, a sunny day on a Washington coast beach! |
| Why should I play in the ocean, when I have this small bit of water to splash? |
| Why don't I just sit down in my practically WHITE dress? Mommy should love this... |
| NO? No, you don't enjoy this, mommy? Fer real?! Welll, I'll just give you a dirty look, then...take THIS! |
| Contemplating life? Or contemplating how to escape the parentals to run straight into the waves... |
| I'M NOT HAPPY, DADDY...I WANT TO RUN INTO THE WAVES! |
| Still throwing a fit over it (seriously) |
| It's still going...now exacerbated by the fact that we are going to tell the water "bye bye" because of said fit. |
We played at the park!
We went back to the beach AFTER a nap, in beach appropriate attire...
| Jazz hands! |
| Still contemplating life, I guess |
| Did you know that the beach and evergreens can live so close together? Did you know my daughter walks on water? Okay, one of these isn't true... |
| My favorite picture of the weekend |
| Bye bye |
So, I know this is a lot of pictures for one post, but I have even more, so consider yourself lucky ;) And please stay tuned for Danny's video.
Great pics!
ReplyDeleteWhat darling photographs! It made me sad to think that you are really moving and that it really was your last trip to Seabrook. Boo.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, (pulling myself together now) the photo of Ruthie sitting on the beach covered in sand, in a formerly white dress, no less, was hilarious! DId you have a panic attack or what? Lily would probably throw the same fit, only she'd try to throw sand in my eyes and then run off into the waves, she's sneaky like that. Now that you're back, we are about to leave for a REAL beach, ha. I kid. But seriously...
Wanna come? Lil' and Roo can play with starfish and guppies, yeah?
And when we return, you leave. This is getting ridiculous.
When we're both settled let's get together. We need a dose of the midwest.
Xoxoxo

P.S. We win The longest Post Ever award. Now I'm done.
